Description:

The 1st episode of the new show "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" included a clip on a fairly taboo subject for network TV. That clip reminded me of another clip and a couple questions about artists that make network TV executives nervous...

Alcohol and Tobacco. Those are'nt drugs. My leaders told me so. A pot or marijuana assosiation would'nt kill a career I do'nt think. Well Ricky Williams might disagree with me. I get the feeling that no-one wants to work with Whitney Houston these days. Crack freaks people out.

I'd like to think yes. But he replaced bill hick's segment with a pro life commercial. How fcked up is that? Maybe having a kid changed him though. I dunno

Here's a pretty good question: "Should a comedian/television host be considered an artist? I mean, I guess "Will it Float" is kind of like dada...

Kanye West is definitely an artist that makes exectives nervous because they think of him as a "loose cannon" because he speaks his mind no matter what. I'm pretty sure he not only made them nervous, but down right pissed them off with that Bush/Katrina comment. LOL

I would really hate to do his PR because you would spend most of your time putting out fires, though I agree with his Katrina comment.

I think serious, honest analysis by thinkers like Noam Chomski make network executives nervous. On the other hand, Anderson Cooper, Sanja Gupta, and Lou Dobbs are all pretty safe from their perspective.
