@willbooth -spitfires are long gone-: Don't forget Hoessein is placed there by the CIA. Europe said that a political solution would evoid a lot of violence AND 'a lot of violence' is what happened, thanks to USA and UK. You get what you give: if you interfere with violence, people start fighting for the remaining bits. If you interfere with dialog, there is a possibility nothing gets destroyed and enough is left for everyone.

Then people will die anyways, but at least we did not leave a disgusting planet as it could be, I think it really doesn't matter if they build enough wind generators or not if the people are still in that kind of conciousness, We'll end up destroying everything anyways.

But you guys dont even have a touch of common sense. I appreciate people trying to do something for the environment, but do you really think protesting and publicity stunts are going to save the planet? And plus you cant make people change their ways at the click of a finger. I do care about the environment, but you guys are just going too far. I wasnt calling you Americans 'rag heads', I was on about the Iraqis blowing each other up. Good bye.

listen dude, im not going to argue with you. and yeah im a "yank." Way to call 'em rag heads. You must be very educated. I think your wrong, thats that. I think the information I have been given is fact, and I trust my sources. I think we are better off trying to do something about it, rather than sitting back and watching.

You work for greenpeace? Oh dear God. Your not going to chain yourself to my Land Rover are you? When I was reffering to dumping them in the sea, I mean building them in the sea. A company called Eon are building a wind farm just off the coast of Britian, thats not that far out to sea now is it?

And do you really think hundreds of turbines will stop the rag heads in iraq from blowing themselves and innocent people up? No it wont. But what if climate change isnt happening because of us? What if its to do with the sun or something like that? What happens when we build these hundreds of thousands of turbines and then it doesnt stop it? What then?

Well since you use the word 'bro', Im guessing you are a yank, and I know my facts on Climate change thank you (its not called global warming anymore because some countries will actually get colder, look it up). And Since I dont live in a flood risk area, Im quite alright. And if you think great big white spinny things that are going to be built next door to you look good, then thats your oppinion, but over in the UK, alot of people think these things look awful, especially in the countryside.

I dont know where you come from bro, or if you know the facts of global warming and what is going on right now, but we cant just let the world fall apart because of a possible few shipping accidents and property values... try selling those houses when they are underwater in 10 years.

Not only that, but I think your shipping argument is shot... because if you are qualified to navigate a ship, then you should know how to stear clear of windmills. You say that wind turbines are ugly, and I dont agree.

Also, 90% of mass residents are pro wind energy, its just the selfish wealthy people that have a problem. I personally think that if wind farms are going to keep global warming under controll, and ultimatly clean our air and possibly stop WARS then these people should be thanking us for saving their homes from being underwater.
