teolol1 ::: Favorites Phipps should confine himself to the performance. He has a great voice, but his commentary is weak. His use of "Negro" and "Black" to refer to people of African desent is awarkward and seems to be pandering to the white folks in the audience. His historical references to the origins of the tune (sounds like an African sorrow chant...) for Amazing Grace may be accurate, but he dosen't support what comes off as an opinion.
