Description:

Albert Bartlett cuts through the bullshit and makes a very clear point on our future if population growth continues. There are no long term solutions for any societal and environmental problems unless human population growth is curtailed. Excellent presentation!

Prof Barlett rules.... I have watched his "Arithmetic, Energy and Population" video several times. Yes, people don't get simple arithmetic!!! btw, Great irony in title!

Cool post Wake, who do you think is the candidate that will curb our population growth? He got one thing wrong in the presentation. About the environmentalists lack of addressing population growth. The reason they don't stress that issue is because they don't want to eliminate the reason for them having jobs :)

I hear less about population growth now then I did 30 years ago. It's gotten buried in all the attendant problems. Now it'd be considered racist since population growth is occurring in the brown race only. (throughout the world) I don't know of any candidate talking population control.

I remember this too, I think It was MIT that calculated that the world would overpopulate by by the 70's and we would all begin to suffer in some fashion.

It'll also be racist when billions of brown people starve and die like rats. :)

Millions of people die everyday from starvation around the globe. More than a billion people around the globe exist on less than 1000 calories a day.
