doodette3 ::: Favorites Er, actually .. I think the main reason most people seem to believe he meant it was the fact that there actually WAS no sarcasm in his tone. 07-10-12 05:50:17 __________________________________________________
doodette3 ::: Favorites @mjmcnult, you've really hit the nail on the head with this one! Someone holding feelings of platonic love for a good friend? Ridiculous! 07-10-12 05:47:42 __________________________________________________
samuel1723 ::: Favorites What the hell is wrong with you people? He only said he loves him because he was scripting House more Vicoden. His voice had an easily detectable sarcasm tone to it. 07-10-12 02:22:48 __________________________________________________
missy7280 ::: Favorites .....Uh, I don't know about some of you, but I say "I love you" to my friends a lot. I like to let them know that I care for them and that they are appreciated. You don't have to view House/Wilson as romantic to admit that they love each other. Just saying. The pills comment was a great opportunity for House to have his cover, since he's obviously not as open about sharing his feelings as most people are. 07-10-12 02:17:27 __________________________________________________
cindy19912003 ::: Favorites ? what did you mean? I'm stupided, you know... XD 07-10-12 01:31:59 __________________________________________________
cynthiailly ::: Favorites What does House being straight have to do with anything? Everybody loves and cares for their friends, and Wilson is the most important person in House's life. Of course he loves him. You can see this scene as platonic friendship love, or you can see it as something more. But from the way it was acted and filmed it was obviously more important than just a joke about House's desire for pain meds. 07-10-12 01:07:18 __________________________________________________
pmviswaywca ::: Favorites sssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss 07-10-12 00:59:10 __________________________________________________
mjmcnult ::: Favorites Any attempt to make more out of this than the obvious -- that he loves the idea of more Oxycodone-- is just conspiracy theory and wishful thinking. We know House is straight because he is always chasing the women. The writers are just trying to get some people to take the bait. Take it for what it is. 07-10-12 00:45:31 __________________________________________________
madslasher1112 ::: Favorites House really did mean that he loved Wilson and not the pain meds because if you compare this "I love you" to the one he said to Stacy in Three Stories it sounds EXACTLY the same. Same tone and intonation, same EVERYTHING. 07-10-11 22:43:59 __________________________________________________
cynthiailly ::: Favorites If that line was just played for laughs then Hugh wouldn't have said it in such a serious tone and there wouldn't have been the somber music following his remark. House has a habit of not wanting to show his emotions (remember the way he tried to take back his apology to Wilson in Words & Deeds?) and trying to mask his real feelings so he used that as an excuse to tell Wilson that he truly does care for him. You can tell by the tone of his voice and the look in his eyes that he's sincere. 07-10-11 21:34:51 __________________________________________________ |
