Yes you did miss something Sadie. Paypal accounts are free. However, in some of the higher level (business) accounts, there fees are a little higher. Since the fees only are charged on the money you make or transfer, and is pennies.. I consider it being charged of my customer and not me. It realy isn't a very substancial figure. I'd say, finish your sign up.. Be Well! ~ Zen Archer

What a lovely idea, Zen. This is likely going to help quite a few people. Just one question- I considered selling things on Ebay and went to sign up for a PayPal account a long time ago. What stopped me was the PayPal info about their accounts. They said that the free accounts don't accept credit cards (or check routing numbers either, I believe). How then does anyone use one of their free accounts to receive payments? Did I misunderstand something? -SadieDammit

If you havn't tried Ebay it is simple. As little as .20 cents listing can get you to be a worldwide seller. Even if you don't want it to be a full time extra stuff around the house might add up to some money in the future. I mean a grilled cheese sandwich with the Virgin Mary on it sold for 28,000 dollars. So anything is possible. You can even get free priority boxes shipped with Ebay on them for nothing . Look under mailing resources.

I am expecting we will do a 3 day auction ( my fav ) for the 1st one. So once things get rolling, I wouldn't think any more than a week and a half to two. there is shipping time as well as waiting for your customers money to clear the bank and paypal. Be Well! ~ Zen Archer

yes, your items will appear for all eBayers worldwide to see, unless they choose to only view items close to their home.
