Description:

The flippant debauchery Scarborough implies here is particularly creepy when one considers the unsolved fate of Lori Klausutis, then *Republican congressman* Scarborough's congressional aide who supposedly died alone in sloppy Joe's Florida office after hours by accidentally smashing her own head on his desk in 2001. This happened only a few weeks after this man mysteriously resigned just six months into the job following an easy, uncontested election. Of course, "We, The People," didn't hear about Joe's sudden resignation and subsequent dead staffer in the same way we were made to know about Democratic congressman Gary Condit and his missing staffer Chandra Levy, even though both incidents happened during the same time period. This is exactly the kind of price we pay for all of that obvious liberal *media bias favoring Republicans* out there among the big corporate networks, right? [/sarcasm] He is also very possibly innocent, but why didn't he ever suffer the Gary Condit-style treatment from the media machines? Instead they gave him a coveted job after subjecting him to excessively generous understanding? I smell a series of fixes. http://www.allhatnocattle.net/joescabs.jpg http://www.truthout.org/docs_01/01.05B.Klausutis.1.htm http://archive.democrats.com/preview.cfm?term=Joe%20Scarborough In Memory Of Lori Klausutis There is no wikipedia page for Lori Klausutis. This is predictable. Her unexpected death posed a threat to the RNC. In contrast, google "Chandra Levy" or Democratic congressman "Gary Condit". The media corpses documented her death's *adverse impact on a Democratic congressman's career* extremely well. Also, go to her wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chandra_Levy OJ Simpson envies this douche nozzle, Joe Scarborough.

Actually, the Miami Herald interviewed Lori Klausutis' family members last July and they said they agreed with the medical examiner's conclusion that she died when hear arrthymia caused her to pass out and hit her head on a piece of furniture. Also, Condit was a "person of interest in Levy's disappearance. Scarborough was not a suspect in Klausutis' death. So there's a difference.

Surely you meant to type "arrhythmia," right? Also, to concur with your point, why don't we, as a nation, relegate all future investigative police tasks involving possible homicides to the grieving parents involved in the cases? Surely that could lessen the "tax burden" on our nation's wealthy set. Those rich people are not enjoying life up to the hilt yet, and dammit, poor, starving "people" are preventing them from doing so!

If this girl was murdered, then why didn't her family members, while they had the media spotlight on them, order a re-autopsy and reinvestigation? And why do only blogs and not any legitimate media (including legitmate leftwing media like The Nation)have interest in this story?

Those are legitimate questions. Do you have any opinions on the partisan media imbalance?

I think maybe Condit's situation had more "tabloid" value than Scarborough's. I don't think it's so much that one was a Democrat and one was Republican. Condit was questioned by the police about a missing person he had an affair with. Scarborough was never questioned as a "person of interest" and the media was told that LK died from natural causes and there's no evidence of an affair between JS and LK.

Since you are so thoughtful and care so much about Lori Lausutis, perhaps you could author her Wikipedia page.

The question that STILL itches: How did Joe S. come out with BS "details" of her "Heart" condition BEFORE the autopsy was even performed? Then the rat ran out of office as fast as he could with both right feet... before too many questions were asked. Joe and T(f)ucker make quite the pair, I tell ya... only question left is if they pay each other for anal sex.
