knightmayorz ::: Favorites 2007-12-30 03:50:38 The power rating on the back is usually the draw from outlet the only way to determine the AC limiting amplification is to find the ratio of the step up transformer since AC cant exceed DC. Ideally the maximum efficiency of AB push pull is 79% I doubt these are pushing a full 2400 watts but it close enough esp for the price. __________________________________________________
pikasoll ::: Favorites 2007-12-24 15:54:36 I like your video. Just wanna say that the behringer can in no way produce that ammount of watts. I know couse I have the same one in a pa we use. Just check the back of it... - Check how much power it uses, the output can in no way be more than the power the amp uses. I like your homebuilt cab though :) __________________________________________________
knightmayorz ::: Favorites 2007-11-28 21:38:16 MDF is great material it is just not the best for portable type applications it is better fitted for stationary applications ie. car subs and home audio. a quality hardwood along with dampening material equalizes the plywood vs mdf playing field. oh and mdf is HEAVY and the speakers have 50oz mags so you can see the weight adds up quicly __________________________________________________
kejross ::: Favorites 2007-11-25 01:35:07 Where did you get your blueprints from??? Thats about the exact cab I wanna build...Any info would be appreciated. Nice job btw... What ya gonna cover it with? __________________________________________________
rugbysk8er ::: Favorites 2007-10-10 02:37:25 hense y the manufacturers say dont put ur amp near water fuck head because its all mdf board __________________________________________________
rugbysk8er ::: Favorites 2007-10-10 02:36:37 dude wow just as i was going to start making my own 4*10 at my school i see you making one fuk thats creepy lol __________________________________________________
11hertz ::: Favorites 2007-09-23 02:57:41 MDF is heavy and easily damaged by water. If a box is built strong, it doesn't have to be heavy to sound good. Lugging around an 80 pound box sucks. __________________________________________________
IBuRnPpl ::: Favorites 2007-06-26 11:38:24 what up with the plywood? should've used 3/4" MDF it would work better probably __________________________________________________
