It's Not the best camcorder on the market but definitely one for me to do a test drive on. It's a very simple machine that has one interesting feature for its price; An external mic jack. For people entering in the filming world this would be the best camera to use. It's cheap, its straight forward and it s got an external mic jack. The introduction was created with the Aiptek A-HD Songs used: Lost Eden - Cryo Interactive Mea Culpa Remix - Enigma All rights belong to the songs used. ::::UPDATE:::: The Mattel Vidster actually runs at a frame rate of 15fps. RET80 ::: Favorites  2007-12-16 14:23:07 Very true, the PXL-2000 was incredibly unique, not with just only video but its audio as well. It sounded scratchy, much like the video and I could best say it reminds me of a video record; scratchy and interesting. __________________________________________________
RABBIDGamfan ::: Favorites  2007-12-16 12:10:17 In my opinion, the videos look like a moving version of those cheap photographs from the 1950s. The unique, surreal quality isn't nearly as surreal as camcorders like the PXL-2000 and the most surreal looking "camcorder" ever, the Game Boy Camera, but it's still very much so. Good for art films. __________________________________________________
RET80 ::: Favorites  2007-11-16 16:31:18 Yeah, horrible color reproduction but in a sense it makes it unique, its not like lots of other cameras. If you want to join, I have created a vidster group. __________________________________________________
