The Germans were the defending world champions and a very difficult team to beat! So from that point of view, this goal was decisive for the tournament of Belgium! Bexy82 ::: Favorites Thanks to that goal the Saudi's became also the first Arabian team to survive the first round of a world cup. Marocco did it before them in 1986 in Mexico, but I consider Marocco more a (North-)African country than an Arabian one.
