I was even told once that I developed RA because my mom has Lupus. In fact they way you describe your wrists sounds exactly how my knees are. Sometimes they completely buckle on me, or lock up. My advise to you is to see a Rheumatologist. That's a Dr. that specializes in Arthritis and other inflammatory diseases.
